A woman asked us to help with a dog, the dog was her neighbor and she met her by chance. We
were there to take the dog, there were challenges but all were not difficult with determination.
The dog was given good treatment and care and then a big change came to her life.

and more dogs are being abused, abused and abandoned by humans. Dogs are our friends, they
are always loyal and love us unconditionally. Whether we are rich or poor, we are strong or weak,

　We received a call for help from a woman. I was really shocked when I saw this dog. She was
chained with a chain only 1 meter long. Even though she wanted to lie down, she couldn't. The
tight Collar made her face swell. She couldn't even brethe normally. Even so, the owner still paid
NO attention to her. He initially refused to let us take her away. We reported him. She collapsed
as soon as she was untied. Her eyes were filled with pain and sadness. She didn't know where
she was being taken. She had a very high range infection. A large amount of fluid accumulates.
Doctors drained the fluid and bandaged it. She felt much lighter and more comfortable. Like
many dogs, she was very homesick. It would take a few days for her to adjust. Evaluna woke up
in a good mood and ate well. She still needed to take high doses of antibiotics. After 2 days, we
took her out for a walk. Everything makes this little girl curious. She lived with that short chain
her whole life. Being free, she sees how big the world is. While running, she smiled happily. After
4 months, she is ready to go home. The previous owner wanted her back. It took us 1 month to
work with the authorities. He said that a short clip doesn't say anything. That time was stressful,
we were worried. In the end, we won and gave her a new life. Her name is Evaluna and good
news has come. She was adopted by a kind family. It was a kind family and they lived happily.
She has changed from body to soul. Thank you for being with us on this journey. Good bye and

　How dare the previous owner insisted on taking Evaluna back to him again. He didn't know how
to live normally in human society. He should think of what he did to the little girl. Now I'm so glad
she could leave the heartless man and start a happy new life with a new adoptive family. I truly
wish her and her family tons of happiness and good luck and health. I also hope she will have a

　This is a video perhaps shot in Korea. When I visited Kyoto at the end of last year, I met a young
man from Korea. He was in trouble wondering how to buy a train ticket. We talked in English. I was
very much surprised to hear his splendid English. "As far as English education is concerned, Korea
should be far ahead of us," I thought. I told him that I had been an English teacher at junior high
school. He was kind enough to respect my career. However many Korean people hate us Japanese.
Usually I also hate them, because our cultures are too different from each other. They have a habit
of eating dog meat. If they can't get rid of the bad habit, how can they protect stray dogs? And one
more thing. Some of the English explanations used in the telops to this video are wrong. Do you
think I could believe in what they do even if something's wrong with their English sentences?

　Well, why didn't they say that the English explanations written at the top were all the same as the
English telops that appear in the video? And at the very end of their explanations there was a
strange sentence that goes "Now, Love's mother is experiencing her happiest days." Who is Love's
mother? I don't understand. And why do they use "..." instead of a period at the end?
　I understand that it's too simple to decide the nationality of a country from just one aspect. But
I can't tell a lie. They believe that they're the best people in the world and that Japan has been the
worst country in the world history. When they noticed that Shohei Ohtani was one of the best
baseball players in MLB, some of the Korean people insisted that Shohei should be a man who had
inherited the Korean blood. Are they crazy? "Stop eating dogs!" they should say aloud before trying
to rescue stray dogs. Well, now I feel I'm such a mean guy either. Let's stop this.

I'm so sorry to write something crazy about Korean people. One of my ex-students has married
a Korean woman. He loves her so much. Am I sure most Japanese people are better than Korean
people? Impossible. Because some Japanese people are good, but there are some more Korean
people who are better than Japanese. "Korean" and "Japanese" are just categories that only mean
nationalities. They don't mean they're good or bad.

　Have you heard the news telling that many Korean people are against the Los Angeles Dodgers'
comments on the donation that Shohei Ohtani and his team made a great sum of donation as to
the Great Noto Peninsula Earthquake? The team used the name "Japan Sea," not "East Sea,"
which South Korea wanted the sea to be called. The Dodgers are not supposed to let Ohtani take
part in the opening game that is to be held in Seoul on March 20 and 21. If Shohei doesn't play in
Seoul, Korean people will get terribly angry with him and his team. The Dodgers think that something
terrible might happen to Shohei in South Korea. It's true that Shohei is as popular as his dog Dekopin
in South Korea. Many MLB fans want to see Shohei in person. But when their desire is betrayed,
they will be sure to get mad at it. This is what lies between South Korea and Japan.

　Baseball is just an entertaining sport. Both players and fans should enjoy it purely. It's not a political
matter. For Korean people sports might be like wars. They're just interested in winning or losing. But
if that's their sense of value, who could change it? We think in different ways. What do you think?

It's much warmer today. According to the weather forecast, it will be terribly cold tomorrow. They
say that it's going to snow a lot in Ishikawa Prefecture, which will affect the area where the great
earthquake occurred on New Year's Day this year. I hope there will be only a little dirty water flowing
through the area because of surprising amount of snow. Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, it will
be more dangerous than today. They say that 22 more people are still missing there in Noto. I don't
know what we could do to solve the problem, but we hope their bodies will be found in good condition
in the near future. If anything is wrong with my remarks, please forgive me.

Meet Angel! We couldn't believe it, he was only two months old, we didn't understand how it was
possible in his short life that he had to endure so much unhappiness. Just by seeing his feet we
realized the terrible pain he endured. Angel dragged on the street for days but no one rescued.
He has a very sad face. Angel had no food or water in the hot sun in this remote place. It's not
fair! Angel is severely malnourished, he's thin, he has many ticks and fleas.

physiotherapy, he responds very well to all the vet's requests. We feel very happy to see his full
recovery. Our Angel is a Champion! Day 20: His progress has been amazing. Our Angel is a very
strong and cheerful puppy. Angel is an extremely friendly puppy, he is very happy with a wonderful

　He's such a brave boy. He didn't give up the painful treatment and painstaking exercises with the
hard-working doctors. I'm so happy that he was finally adopted by a good loving mother. His
handsome ears look so proud of his efforts. I sincerely wish Angel and his adoptive mother tons of
happiness and good luck and health. I also hope he will have a happy new life with someone who

　We were told about a homeless mama dog and her puppies. We are driving there to help this
dog family. Mother dog runs up to all passersby and asks for food. But nobody pays attention...
Dog house is into the trash... Our plan is to take whole dog family and try to change their lives.
Just look how happy they are when they get a little attention from human. One by one we are
loading them into the car. Check up at the vet clinic. Puppies are about 3-4 months old. Two
females and a male. We named him Teddy. We named this beauty Lina. Mom is Jessy. And
this is Masha. Rescues like this happen only with your support. Even $5 can help to change
the lives of helpless animals. Mama dog is young, she is about 2 years old. All of them were
treated for fleas, ticks and worms. Bath time... They behave so well while bathing. If you like

easy for our country, but still we managed to rescue and rehome 211 dogs and cats. We would

　The scene when the family of four dogs came running to the rescue woman really impressed
me. They looked so happy. Even if they are betrayed by people a hundred times, they will trust
people for the 101st time. They're such a positive, cheerful family. I can't believe that those
who have been rescuing stray dogs and cats in Ukraine are having a hard time themselves, but
that they're trying to save the poor dogs and cats. You can't basically do that.

　Meet Lucy. The puppy we have rescued in our previous video. Lucy lived near a busy road for
a long time. She didn't trust people and didn't come close to them, that's why no one took her
away from the street. We posted Lucy's story on social media. And we received this photo from
people who saw and fed Lucy when she lived on the street. This is Lucy's mom. We are driving
to that location again and will try to find mom. She often wanders the streets in search of food
for herself and for Lucy what's why we didn't see when we were there for Lucy. And here she
is...she runs to us as soon as we call her. Mom isn't afraid of people, she is friendly and so
hungry. We're taking mom...she definitely misses Lucy. We named her Rozy. Rozy is breathing
very hard and loudly, so we are taking her to the vet clinic for checkup. The test showed that
Rozy had dirofilaria (heartworms) in her heart and in her pulmonary artery. Rozy is about 8-10
years old... We start treatment for Rozy. Rescues like this happen only with your support. Even

meet her mom. I wonder how she will act at their first meeting. Hi, Mommy. Just look, Lucy can't
contain her emotions when she recognized her mom. Rozy is very nervous at a new place, and

　It was such an impressive video that they showed us. I really would like to thank them to let us
know about the mom and her daughter. I was so happy to see them reunite themselves. They
really look like each other. Especially Lucy got crazy about meeting her mother. I also have to

Two hours ago my father-in-law passed away in the hospital. He was carried to the hospital on
January 11 and for the first few days he couldn't eat anything at all. He was put on a drip and this
afternoon he went to the rainbow bridge. When he was active, he took good care of our Shiba dog,
Ryoma. When he passed away on June 19, 2019, he went to the vet clinic in my car too. We
carried him back home. The only thing we could do was just cry over his body. Since Ryoma left us,
my father-in-law has been so lonely. Because he loved Ryoma so much. I hope now he's playing
happily with Ryoma in the field at the foot of the Rainbow Bridge. They'll be there with Hana, the
former Shiba dog, waiting for me to come and join them. Not so many years from now, maybe. I
hope that my mother-in-law will keep energy to live an active life. What can I do for her?

　This mama dog begged for help with her puppy. Her eyes were filled with tears as she looked
at me. The puppy was scared when he saw me. Her desperate eyes broke my heart. We know
that she has more than just that one puppy. We found another puppy where the big dogs were.
Just a little bit later and it's already in danger. And another puppy laid motionless nearby. We
immediately took them out of there and reported that illegal shelter. Their condition was very
worrying. The mother dog was very alert at that time. She was afraid the puppies were in danger.
Two puppies also had severe diarrhea. And the mother dog has blood parasites. She would need
long-term treatment. The two puppies felt safe with their mother. The two puppies were then
isolated and treated. And the mother dog was bathed and smelled fresh. She just hung around
where the two puppies lay. Sometimes I let her in with them. It helps her puppies felt secure.
Thanks to that, the two puppies ate better. The mother dog just silently watched them eat. After
the loss, she felt warmer. She wished that puppy was here. I appreciate the puppies' appetites.
But difficulties had come to us again. They were also infected with the Parvo virus. Treatment
time will be longer. No matter what species it is, motherly love is sacred. She always worries
about them. It will be difficult to forget what happened. She really needs a family that loves her.
In the end, their condition got better. And a happiness came to her after that. A medical staff
there wanted to adopt her. A new, better life opens up for her. Love will help Nalan forget what
happened. She is also ready for a new life. As for the shelter where she used to live. Their
purpose was just to make a donation. All the dogs there had been moved. They are living a better
life in a better shelter. And Nalan changes every day. She is beautiful and happy every day. The
two puppies will live with us. It's easy for them to forget everything. Everything to them was like
a dream. They were also ready for a new life. Where we live is near their mother. They will often
see their mother. A beautiful, heartwarming ending for them.

　One of the medical staff at the vet clinic must have fallen in love with the mother dog Nalan.
We notice she is a gentle mother dog when we look at her kind eyes. The two puppies are
supposed to live with the rescuer who live near the mother dog. They can often see each other.
I'm very sorry for the sick puppy who couldn't make it. Nalan was also very sorry for her puppy.
I sincerely wish Nalan and her two puppies tons of happiness and good luck and health. I also

remains like this on the street to drag and die slowly and painfully. The dog is losing weight
every day, she can not stand on her feet at all, and just turns her tail and enjoys everyone who

　We got a report call for help a poor dog dragging on the street for months without help. It
remains like this on the street to drag and die slowly and painfully. The dog is losing weight
every day, she can not stand on her feet at all, and just turns her tail and enjoys everyone who
give to her food and water.. We took the poor dog to the Vet for checking and treatment. We
also named her Pluri. Scan done today, fortunately no fractures or similar serious injuries, but
it doesn't change the dog's condition. Tests found that the dog has an advanced degree of
Erlichiosis, as well as Giardia. Day 2: Pluri has already been operated on, so far the surgery has
been successful, however the first 48 hours are risky! Plates are placed between the second
and third cervical vertebrae. Day 7: Pluri is eating a lot of foods. That's a good news. Day 9:
This is an extremely difficult and complicated case, and there is no way to recover quickly or
experiment with the dog! The fastest way the dog needs to go to exercise and physiotherapy!
We can't do it alone! Please help Pluri! Day 16: Pluri has already been transferred to Ita Vet
Clinic. Active physical therapy, electrical stimulation, and other activities will begin today. The
important thing is that there is sensitivity, there is some improvement, but it is still very early.
As the doctors had said, initially about a month of physiotherapy it will not be so, it will take a
few months, and the cost per day is very high. So far we managed, but from now on we do not
know. As the doctor from the clinic says in the video, it will be a lot of work, but the dog Pluri
has a chance. Day 21: This is a difficult case that requires patience, funds and courage! Day 39:
Greetings from Pluri to all who are by her side and helped with her and her recovery! She feels
much better, has visible results, stands up slightly alone, has a desire to fight. We have started
and we will continue, we believe that she will get up and start walking on her own! We have to
continue therapies and exercises, month two.... Day 58: Daily movements, active physical therapy,
and electrical stimulation, this is what happens at Pluri. We have never had such a case and we
hope we will never have it again. Day 140: Little Pluri got adopted by a kind woman. Day 142:
Pluri on a walk, the girl lived to have a person paying attention to her and walking her! So much
effort, funds, energy, it was just worth it, even on a stroller she will be happy! Twice a day she is
walking and moving, they couldn't help her here but hopefully Gabriela can help her. Apparently
the front and feet are much better! Thanks to everyone who did not abandon us and helped us
all these months. While she was in the clinic and the procedures and movements were done.
Day 200: Pluri, She had surgery, then months of rehabilitation, and is currently continuing with
the woman who adopted her. The dog's four legs, as well as his head, were motionless,
thankfully he is now moving, hopefully one day he can run without a wheelchair. Day 230:
Greetings from Pluri! We did the impossible for Pluri to enable her to move even in a stroller.
Rehabilitation is currently ongoing and has been taken over by her adopters. Thank you so much,
Gabriella! Day 250: Hey there is no greater happiness than seeing a dog that couldn't walk,
moving its head to move already taking its first steps without a stroller. A long battle, very
expensive and difficult, but we are sure there will be more results. We also did our best so that

vet. Currently resting in a foster home, he recovery journey continues. Her frail body tells a story of
too many nights spent shivering in abandonment. Heartworm-positive, anemic, and fragile overall
health characterize her condition. Koa faced breathing difficulties and shaking. To ease her suffering,
she's now prescribed gabapentin during her extended recovery in her foster home. Despite the
challenges, Koa is adapting to her new life. She has a big appetite so that is great news. Now reveling
in the warmth of a soft t-shirt, a fresh chew bone, and her dedicated heater. She no longer endures
chilly nights outside. Instead, she enjoys the comfort of a warm bed and a satisfied belly. This poor
baby deserves a chance for a happy and safe life.

　While they were enjoying a Thanksgiving feast together in a warm house, they didn't think anything
about the poor shivering dog who had to spend the cold night outside. When you start living with a
pet dog, you surely have the responsibility to take good care of him/her. You have to love them. But
Koa's didn't have the warm heart to care for her. I'm very sorry. But she was quite lucky to be saved
by a gentle rescuer. She was crying when she talked about Koa's miserable life.

　I sincerely wish Koa and her rescuer tons of happiness and good luck and health. I also hope she'll
have a happy new life with the rescuer for as long as possible. Please God bless both of them.

journey for us and we were finally able to help that dog, he recovered and is waiting for the day to
start a new, better and happier life.

　This dog was chained in an abandoned place. He slept on that cold ground. One person came
across it while looking for his lost dog. Who chained this dog here? His leg also had a big wound.
The doctor was disinfecting his wound. His leg wound became seriously infected. We were afraid
we won't be able to keep that leg. The doctor said there were still tooth marks. Most likely
because he was so hungry. The boy then cried a lot because of the pain. High doses of painkillers
were used. Our little boy was feeling much better. He was very friendly and smiled at us. We still
hadn't found out who was behind it. Why did they chain him there? Day 5, he was able to eat a
little food. The leg wound had healed and was drier. But he still cried because of the pain. And we
did more specialized tests on him. That's when we have the answer to everything. He had
leukemia and low albumin. Worst of all, he had osteomyelitis. This disease was very dangerous for
him. We can understand why they chained him there. They simply wanted to abandon him. His
stomach and intestines were also poor. Nutrition was also an important issue. He trusts me more
after days of care. Besides, his health improved a lot. Leukemia was gradually disappearing. And
albumin had increased. However, his leg still hurts. But that didn't stop him from enjoying life.
Turns out he's an incredibly active dog. But can he forget what happened? Surely it still lies
somewhere in his heart. 2 months later, osteomyelitis was still being treated. But things were
much better than before. We've come a long way until then. His heart and body were healing. We
were very close to the finish line. In just 2 weeks we would leave here. We were looking forward
to that day. A new good life is waiting for him. And this great guy's name is Bim.

　I was very much relieved to know that his wounded leg didn't have to be amputated. Yes, it's
true. A new happy life is waiting for him. We really want to blame those who had tried to abandon
him on the cold street, but the past is past. However hard we try, we couldn't change it. So let's
forget about his miserable past. I sincerely wish Bim and his rescuer tons of happiness and good
luck and health. I also hope he'll have a happy new life with the rescuer for as long as possible.

　Garbage collectors found this dog at a market. Some people in the market chased her away.
But she refused to leave and hid here. It turns out she wanted to protect the puppies. She needs
milk to care for her newborn puppies. Hunger made her forget her defenses. Little by little I tried
to get to know her. This was where she kept her puppies. She chooses a sheltered and cozy
place for them. She often went around the market asking for food. These puppies were the
reason she stays here. A while later, she let me touch her puppies. She knows that we won't
harm them. The tiny puppies haven't opened their eyes yet. They felt that I was not their mother.
They cried to call their mother so adorable. She will also go with these little angels. She was not
aggressive at all back then. She was far different from what people describe. They said she was
a dirty and aggressive dog. She would be with these puppies. They were comprehensively
examined by doctors. The mother dog was only 1 to 1.5 years old. She had scabies and was
malnourished. There were many ticks on her body. It would take time to clean all of them. Luckily
the puppies were completely healthy. She has two boys and two girls. We further examined her
abdomen. There was also garbage in her stomach. It caused her mild pain. Luckily she won't need
surgery to get them out. She ate trash to survive and take care of them. "A mother is willing to
do anything for her children." Not long after we returned home. The puppies and mother are well
cared for. They are very happy living here with us. After 10 weeks, the puppies were adopted.
They will go to happy new homes. This was when they say goodbye to their friends. And the
mother dog, Indah is with us. She is very happy to have a new life. Every day, we spend time
together. She became so beautiful and radiant. She had a rough start at that market. But her love
changed the fate of everything. Especially the fate of her puppies. Thank you for being with this
amazing journey.

　I'm so glad that Indah has finally found a warm-hearted woman to live with. When the rescuers
found the mother dog at the market, she was very much afraid of poeple. Because she had never
been gently cared for by people she met. They tried to chase her away because she was dirty and
aggressive. No one knew that she had newborn puppies that she had to protect. Suppose you
were a hungry mother dog who had to take care of her little puppies, wouldn't you be afraid of
human beings and become offensive? Perhaps she was surprised when she came across people
who were very nice to her and her puppies. That's why she let them touch her precious babiesl
The best news was that all her puppies were in good health. Although she had trouble in her
stomach, she was lucky enough that she didn't have to have surgery.

　Now that all her 4 puppies have been adopted by good people and Indah herself could live with
the rescuer in her happy new life. I sincerely wish Indah and her rescuer tons of happiness and
good luck and health. I also hope they will have a happy life together for as long as possible.

　Meet Nika and Lisa. Puppies, whose rescue story we showed in our previous video. Someone
dumped these two pups at the kennel for stray dogs. We couldn't leave them there, we took
them to vet clinic, treated them for fleas and worms, vaccinated. And then we brought them
home. And now it's bath time. Lisa isn't afraid of water, behaves well while bathing. And Nika is
more shy and still doesn't really trust us. Today puppies were revaccinated, microchipped, and

　This dog cried and struggled in the pouring rain. She kept calling for the owner to release her.
But he still ignored it even though the dog begged. Neighbors said the dog came home late from
playing. And he left the dog outside all night before. We've been negotiating with him for an hour.
He still did not agree to give us the dog. We called the authorities. Her whole body was stiff from
the cold. The owner even dug a hole nearby. It's beyond imagination. After more than 1 hour, we
were at the vet. Her mood at that time was complicated. Fear mixed with doubt. She refused the
food I gave her. She even wanted to bite me. I tried to bring the food closer to her mouth.
Luckily she was willing to eat a little. What happened greatly affected this dog. And the doctor
told us a painful truth. "No, she's been outside for days." And she was more serious than I
tought. Her body was severely dehydrated. But the difficulties didn't stop there. She had malaria
and it had complications. As a result, she was paralyzed. Doctors did everything they could to
help her. The doctor tested a cerebrospinal fluid sample. We will have the results 10 days later.
Can you imagine a dog standing outside? They are like children, they will never leave. They will
wait until that door is opened. Because that's all they have, it's their home. She'll be better off if
she leaves. And this dog didn't do that despite the cold. This dog is only about 1.5 years old. How
many dogs like her are out there? Dogs cannot decide who is their owner. I wonder if they are as
dependent on fate as we are. Is effort alone enough to change? Every day's treatment procedures
are long. It always makes this girl extremely tired. But she never once cried or was upset. Her
desire to live is extremely strong. We also know her name is Cita. Cita was suffering from a
disease called MEG. (granulomatous meningitis) It inflames the central nervous system. And the
cause was unknown. In particular, it was an incurable disease. There is so much sadness coming
to this dog. She has a maximum of 2 years left. Her eyes were only filled with sadness. The
miracle came to us 1 month later. With her efforts she surprised me. She was able to stand up
and walk. The doctor said this was impossible. And she turned nothing into possibility. We
rejoiced and cried with happiness. Then there were her recovery training days. She always works
hard to practice walking. Everything there made her very curious. She also gradually forgot about
her owner. I think she also learned the truth. Dogs like her deserve a better life. But she has to
take medicine. That would last for the rest of her life. And we don't have much time left. We
need to cherish every minute. Every day, Cita becomes more beautiful. She is living a happy life

　I wonder why they didn't take them to the animal shelter when they found the family in the
deserted area. The mother dog was barking loudly to ask for food. I understand she didn't leave
the place where she gave birth to her babies. If the rescuer had tried to take her cubs away, she
would be afraid that they would take her puppies away from her. So she might have attacked them.
But actually, some of the puppies couldn't make it because it was freezing cold out there. Anyway
she was a very brave mother who tried to protect her puppies as hard as she could. I sincerely
wish the mother and her remaining cubs tons of happiness and good luck and health. I also hope

　We found a poor puppy, she is like a chameleon. She drown in that trash. Hiding your body
under trash! And that was supposed to be her destiny? Her life? We saw her! We will try to change
her fate! Of course, she will depend a lot on her desire for life! People used to drive away her
because she's severe demodex, ugly, dirty.. She started treatment with therapy for demodex,
started taking antibiotics.. We hope that our baby girl will be better soon..and that the one who
decided to accept it in his life will have a wonderful and beautiful puppy!! ....but before that little
creation is a big fight for healing and recovery! She got a name is Nelly. A girl saved in a difficult
condition next to the trash container!.... It's been 10 days. 1 month later: The recovery period is
followed, all vaccines pass successfully. As she was recovery, she grew up into a beautiful girl!
In the meantime, we found a wonderful home for her, a home where they love it so much,..and
where there are more friends with whom they will play all day long! Thank you to all of you who
are with us and who help us make as many of these amazing and wonderful creatures happy!
Nelly enjoy in new her forever home in Zurich with some new friend dogs. She's a playful dog,
who can play all day! We're very happy for you, Nelly. You deserve second chance in your life.

　I'm very sorry to wonder why the doctors didn't keep treating Nelly in the vet clinic. It doesn't
seem that her scabies have healed completely. And why are there so many grammatical mistakes
in the English telops on the video. This video has been edited in Switzerland, right? Then English
has to be perfect. So who rescued Nelly and what did they do for her? Is she going to be adopted
by a good loving family in the near future? I wish her lots and lots of happiness and good luck. I

We have been alerted to a mama dog, her puppies, and an scared daddy. Mom is a German
Shepherd and is very thin but she is in okay shape. Dad is a beautiful lab mix but he is in rough
shape. His front leg has recently been injured - possibly in a fight. We can see 5 very young
puppies, so far, that seem healthy. Mama did a great job hiding them in the back of the crawl
space of a historic mansion. We are desperately trying to get this family rescued - we will not

puppies, so far, that seem healthy. Mama did a great job hiding them in the back of the crawl
space of a historic mansion. We are desperately trying to get this family rescued-we will not
separate them. We are slowly gaining mama's trust with some treats and food. We can still hear
the puppies. All 5 puppies have been pulled out. As you can see, they are covered in fleas.
They're on their way to the vet. Our team is now working on Mama dog. She is guarding Papa so
we are still unsure of his status. Mama dog is very ill and not moving and we are worried Papa
dog is clinging, on to his last bit of life as he is unresponsive. They are holed up under the
mansion and are quite a way back. Our team is going to make a human conveyor belt under the
house with hopes in getting everyone out safely. This rescue mission will be a big challenge but
worth it to give this family a fighting chance. We have named our awesome little mama Victoria.
She has 4 boys-Woodruff, Mclntyre, Adams, and Gideon and her only girl is Fontaine. Day 2:
Papa dog, James Lee, is no longer under the mansion. We searched every nook and no sign of
him. He did eat the food we left last night. We have covered the access point to the crawl space
and have set up a humane trap with game cameras. We've all taken shifts and hope that now that
he's mobile, we have a better chance of getting him. This rescue has been tough physically and
emotionally. And we just want this family reunited so they can begin theri new life. We found out
today that Victoria is heartworm positive. Once the puppies are weaned, she will begin
treatment. She also has quite a bit of weight to gain and lots of learning about humans. We are
happy to help with both! Papa dog-James Lee still remains elusive. He was spotted last night
after our volunteers left. So for now, our shifts are happening in our cars-we drive around looking
or park and wait. James Lee has been spotted! We set the trap with fresh Church's Chicken! Now
we wait. Day 3: This guy definitely made us work to save him but we are so thrilled he finally went
into the trap. It was chicken and that did it for him! We used the blanket that Victoria and pups
slept on last night to comfort him while we waited to load him. James is en route to our vet where
he will be assessed and given any medical care he might need. He's a bit scared right now and will
need some time to decompress. Thank you to our amazing, strong-willed, compassionate group of
volunteers, who worked many long, physical hours to make this happen for James Lee. Once we
got dad dog James Lee back to our vet, we all became a little emotional. There were so many up-
and-downs to this rescue mission but we are very happy that Mom, Dad, and all 5 puppies are safe
and back together. Victoria is a great mom and has been eating like a champion. Dad is
decompressing and relaxing next to Mom and puppies. For the first time, these dogs won't have to
wonder where their next meal is coming from. Day 7: Mom, Dad, and pups are doing well today. The
kennel techs let us know that Victoria is a very good mom, and she is starting to get more
comfortable with people. James Lee is still pretty scared but a few of our volunteers are spending
time with him! Day 12: We got a smile out of James Lee. This sweet boy really loves Chicken and
he is very connected to one of our volunteers that helped with his rescue. Day 20: James Lee is
working on gaining weight and building strength to prepare for his heartworm treatment and surgery.
Day 30: These big puppies are eating puppy mash and growing like crazy! They are all so precious-
Fontaine and Woodruff look just like daddy! Day 55: Based on his demeanor and front paw injury, we
are pretty sure his previous interactions with humans weren't great. Our volunteers visit him
religiously and has been insanely patient with him as he learns how to trust. He is still shy and
scared but we think he is starting to warm up to life off the streets and in a home. It will be a
journey but as always, it's so worth it! Day 60: Our first boy Adams got adopted to new happy family.
Day 90: Happy tail: TUCKER (formerly Adams). Congratulations, Tucker!!! You have found the
perfect fur-ever home! Day 100: Happy Tail: Gideon! Gideon now has a loving (and extremely cozy)
forever home, and we're so happy! Happy Tail: Mclntyre! Congrats to this happy family! James Lee
after his successful surgery to amputate his leg. He doesn't seem to mind his bandage too much so
hopefully we will avoid having to use a cone cloud. Day 120: I'm not sure why any of us ever worried
about James Lee getting around and going up the stairs. He's like a new dog after his surgery.
Day 150: We have wonderful news to brighten your day, James Lee was officially adopted!
Congratulations, James Lee, we love you so much!

　It's been such a long story of a very wonderful family. When I knew that one of James Lee's legs
had to be amputated, I was so much surprised and shocked. But when I saw him playing around with
a smile on his face, I felt relieved. And I thought the dog was really a brave animal. I wish all the
family members tons of happiness and good luck and health. I hope some of the pups and the Mom
Victoria will stay with the rescuer and that they will have a happy new life together for as long as

《The puppy was soaked and shivering but still tried to find her mother》
We received a picture of a wet puppy next to a ditch, when we got there she was very weak and
shivering from the cold. We didn't understand why this puppy was lying there and we immediately
took her to the hospital. Luckily nothing serious happened and she was ready for a new journey.

　Someone left this wet puppy on the side of the road. The girl was almost motionless when I
arrived. She wagged her tail when she heard footsteps. She was soaked and shivering from the
cold. She looked at us with bewildered eyes. Do you see the fleas crawling on her nose? Who left
this poor puppy here? Or did someone bring her up from the ditch behind? I immediately took her
to the VET. The doctor was shocked by her condition. "Certainly she was neglected for a long
time." Fleas even fell onto the examination table. This type of comb removes them quite
effectively. Perhaps the number must be in the thousands. Even when she eats, I take advantage
of it. The she was given medicine. It was a long day for her. After 10 days, her health was
gradually recovering. And that was the day we returned home. She was shy in front of other dogs.
She looked around to see where her mother was. She really needs her mother's warmth. On the
contrary, there was a warm welcome. Everyone loves this youngerst sister. They all treated her
gently. A new world seems to open up for the puppy. This sling lets her feel my heartbeat. This
puppy is only about 5 weeks old. I wonder where her mother and siblings are. After many days,
she considered me her mother. Every day, she gives me kisses and love. Love always magically
changes everything. She gradually adapted to her new life here. Every day is a happy day for her.
The scared and timid eyes were gone. It was truly a turning point in her life. When she has a
family and friends. Her back story remains a mystery. Was she abandoned in that ditch? And then
someone picked her up? It's a miracle to all that she's still here. Her eyes are so beautiful and
innocent. She had completely forgotten what happened. A fresh new life has just begun for her.
And this beautiful girl's name is Nala.

　It's very sad to know that Nala has been looking for her mother even when she had a new home
and a lot of friends who loved her so much. But gradually the rescuer became a gentle mother for
her. Now that she's grown a beautiful bigger girl and that she has a new family, I really hope she
will have a happy new life with the rescuer and her friends living together for as long as possible.

　This dog's cry attracted the attention of a man. After 15 minutes, we brought her up safely. And
I was shocked when I looked into her eyes. Turns out she's a blind dog. This was where they left
her down there. Water flows down more and more. Her face and legs all had wounds. Surely
someone did that on purpose. They didn't want to take care of this blind dog. Without hesitation,
we went to the vet. She obediently let the doctors take a blood sample. She was unusually quiet,
making me worried. Her eyes had no reaction at all, they were empty. And her tests came back
bad. She suffered from sever malnutrition, ehrlichia. Ehrlichia is a bacterial blood parasite in dogs.
It could be the reason her eyes were like that. The characteristic symptom was retinal
detachment. And it has other dangers. The doctor gave her fluids to help her. We also discussed
her eyes. Is there any chance to treat these eyes? She must have suffered too much. The next
day, she was much better. But we got bad news about her eyes. She will never be able to see the
light. All her world was surrounded by darkness. Eyes would be saved if treated earlier. But her
owner did not choose that. They left her in that ditch and left her scared. It's easy to understand
why she's always so timid. Her world kept getting darker before then. She couldn't speak and
could only stay silent. She has been neglected for a long time. Day 10, she was still on antibiotics.
The ehrlichia disease was under control. The skin scratches were also gradually healing. Sure
enough, she rolled down there. It causes scratches all over the body. Day 25, she was dewormed
and vaccinated. Everything was progressing positively then. More specifically, her mood has
improved. She is ready to leave the vet. New life with dogs like her was difficult. She always has
to walk close to the wall. A dog was curious about her. He followed her all the way. Our Lucero
was very shy because of that. That friend even gave her kisses. And very good news came to her.
When Marta heard Lucero's story, she immediately adopted her. I will be her eyes, she said. She
will be happy for the rest of her life.

　Thank you, Marta, for adopting Lucero who needed someone to guide her walk. We can blame
the cruel guy who had previously owned Lucero, but we can't change what had already happened
in the past. I sincerely wish Lucero and her new mother tons of happiness and good luck and
